Parental/User Control
The Parental/User Control application protects your children as they surf the Web from questionable content. It can easily be configured by the user to automatically block access to inappropriate or offensive websites. There are 6 distinct content filtering categories: adult, gambling, webmail, weapons, hate and drugs. A built-in keyword filtering system restricts access to these types of sites, and you can also manually add website addresses to block. Popular Chat Programs such as MSN Messenger and Yahoo! Instant Messenger can also be restricted.

Pop-Up Blocker
The Pop-up Blocker option prevents annoying and often offensive new browser windows ("pop-ups") from disrupting your online experience.

Firewall
The Firewall is an important tool that monitors your computer and protects the privacy of your data by automatically blocking attempted intrusions. The Firewall filters incoming and outgoing traffic according to your chosen settings and keeps a log of activities. The Firewall also includes a tool that blocks automatic dialers. These annoying dialer programs disconnect you BrookeTel dial-up connection and reconnect to an international number, often without your knowledge, resulting in inflated long distance charges on your phone bill. With the Firewall, you are informed of all undesirable connection attempts.
